South America in tension: wars, conflicts and crises in more than a century of analysis
This article aims to briefly point out the persistence and overlap of some endless conflicts in South America from a perspective of the historical evolution of these litigations. The temporal cutout of this work, part of the late 19th century until the first decade of the 21st century, that is, before the impacts of hybrid wars on the subcontinent. When starting the analysis from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, it is perceived that many of the conflicts pointed out persist and extend until the present time.
