Resumo

This essay discusses some possibilities of rewriting a History of Foreign Policy in the present time, considering the meanings of rupture expressed by different actors and, at the same time, authors of the contemporary Brazilian political scene. In dialogue with the history of the present time, we point out how uncertainties and throw backs observed since 2019 stimulate new readings about the past, in a constant process of construction, reconstruction and dispute between Memory and History.
